I am involved in the peer review process, which I think is essential for the advancement of science.

I am a member of the Editorial and Scientific Committee of Conservación Vegetal, the only journal in Spanish focused on flora conservation. I have been member of the Editorial Review Board of Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution, and Botanica Complutensis (2022-2024). I served as a member of the Editorial review Board of Journal of Biogeography (2018-2019).

I have reviewed more than 90 articles for 35 scientific journals.
