Macaronesia

Island systems

Macaronesia, islands of the fortunate, is a biogeographic region made up of several volcanic archipelagos (seamounts) in the Atlantic Ocean (Azores, Madeira, Selvagens, Canary Islands and Cape Verde), and a continental enclave in the Moroccan Argan sector.

Find below a collection of photos from Madeira, the Canary Islands, Cape Verde and the Moroccan Argan Sector. Azores and Selvagens are still in my bucket list.
